Are you amazed with God’s power? I am. At one time I thought it too much to ask people all over the world to know the Lord personally. What about those out in the middle of nowhere? Well, I was inflicting my human weakness and ineptitude onto my glorious, all-powerful, all- knowing God and Father. A great example of God’s glorious power is one I stumbled upon recently. When pondering how God could reach “the unreachable,” He put Helen Keller in my mind. Helen Keller, a deaf, blind, mute, was a believer in Jesus Christ as her Savior. But how? Her famous teacher, Anne Sullivan, was not a believer so could not have taught her. When pastor—later Bishop—Phillips Brooks came to teach her about Jesus and the Gospel, when she was about 11 years old, Brooks communicated in her special language by spelling the Gospel and Bible stories into her hand using the manual alphabet.” When Brooks explained God and Jesus to her, Helen responded, “I’ve always known there was a God, but until now, I’ve never known His name.” Later she also responded she had always known she was not alone in her darkness and isolation because she had felt his Presence.
This true story melts my heart, and I hope yours too. Now we can all know beyond a shadow of a doubt, God can reach everyone and He can do whatever we need also. Like Helen, we are never alone in our trouble or in our triumph. He not only wants us to know Him intimately, He wishes to share every aspect of our lives. If you do not know Jesus, ask Him now to be your Savior. Romans 10:9 New King James Version: “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” You can pray something like this: “Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner and ask You to forgive me for my sins. I believe You died for my sins and were crucified, died, and buried. You rose on the third day and sit at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. I ask now that I can be Your son/daughter and live with You for eternity.” If you prayed this sincerely, you are now a saved Believer in Christ and will go to heaven when you die. Find a good Bible-believing church (where you need to take your Bible to church) to help you grow spiritually. You might want to join a great Bible study too. I highly recommend Bible Study Fellowship. This Bible study is for all people, all ages (children, teens, men, and women). Go to bsfinternational.org to find a class near you. This Bible study will change your life for the better.
If you prayed this prayer, I’d love for you to type, “I prayed!” You can ask me any questions too. God loves you. God bless you all!
