I’m Lana Kruse—last name pronounced Kruzey, rhymes with doozie! I’m a Christian, wife, mother of two, grandmother of six (aka Mimi), and friend. I hope you will join me in that last category via my blog. I love people, words, laughter and eating out. Put all these things together, and I’m in heaven!

I was a teacher for a short time, but mostly I’ve been a volunteer—from helping at my children’s school when they were small, to parenting a mother suspected of child abuse, to befriending an elderly woman when I was a Stephen’s Minister, to facilitating a group of women out for inspiration and laughter called Simply Social, to various other services.

For about fifteen years I was a group leader for women’s Bible studies, mostly Bible Study Fellowship—an amazing life-changing experience! Currently, I’m loving a chronological Bible study, partnering with my sister and cousin via Zoom. I live in McKinney, Texas and began a brand spanking new career as a writer of women’s fiction. It’s never too late to pursue a dream.
